Integrated Screw Air Compressors

The SCI compressor has been studied to be used in different applications,  coupled with both electric motor and heat engine.

The SCI compressor is composed by a casing holding a rotor pair made of  a main rotor, named driver or male, and a secondary rotor, named driven or female. The same casing has function of tank, with integrated valves, filters, sight glasses and other components.

The profile is asymmetric, with 5 lobes on the male rotor and 6 lobes on the female rotor. This solution can guarantee the optimal result regarding stiffness, air volume per revolution and efficiency. 


The advantages of lubricated screw compressors compared to alternative compressor are: 


	Compressed air discharge without pulsation;

Shaft Seal

TM.C. provides its screw compressors with a very effective oil seal. Its configuration is with two PTFE seal lips, 1 PTFE dust lip and an external additional dust cover, with a metallic cage. The seal system assures a very long service life, high wear resistance and protection.

Casing

Modern numerical control machining centers, constantly monitored by means of continuos testing technical specialization and continual modernization with the most technically up-to-date machinery, is applied in all machining work in order to guarantee the obligation we assume towards the Certified Quality of our compressors.

Rotors

The heart of every screw compressor is the air end. The multistage automatic screw manufacturing process, operated with latest CNC machines and the use of top grade materials assure the closest tolerances as well as greater reliability. A final grinding process, coupled with computer operated multistep rotor control guarantees 100% accuracy of each rotor profile.

Bearings

Because of rotational speeds and bearing loads TM.C. screw compressors are equipped with, top quality bearings that provide a high bearing capacity and assure long bearing life.

Valves

The performance of a compressor is influenced by the quality of its valves. All TM.C. COMPACT compressors are fitted with valves specifically designed to ensure economical operation and high reliability.
